This is the finest of all the features created by the Disney studio. It's almost Shakespearean in it's melodrama, yet it plays it smoothly, almost without blemish. The songs are wonderful, going over the top in only one of them, and they are all memorable. This is the first film I ever cried over. It is a deeply stirring film.
